The next CMA Breakfast Roundtable “How does social media fit into your marketing strategy?” on March 4, 2008, addresses social media.
The 3-member panel with participants from the University of Toronto, TD Bank Financial Group and Thornley Fallis and moderated by CMA council colleague Gayle Ramsay (Vice President, Customer Data & Analytics of Rogers Communications) will provide perspectives on how they are experimenting with social media and using it to provide tangible results. They will also tackle the following questions:
- How was engagement for the initiative built internally?
- How are companies using social media to target and start dialogue with specific audiences?
- What is the consumer’s apparent willingness to participate in social networking?
- What do you see as the potential impact on social networking once it becomes “invaded” by marketers?
Panelists will present their views followed by an open discussion with attendees. Another excellent roundtable is expected. Unfortunately, I can’t attend as this overlaps with the Omniture Summit.
